Priyamani, Shriya, Trisha, Asin, Padmapriya and Sada are the new age actresses who have a common factor in them. And that is, these entire actresses have tasted the Bollywood industry and are now hoping for more offers in films. All of they have made or are making their debut in Bollywood, but have not yet met enough success.
Previously, south actresses like Ramya Krishnan, Kushboo, Sridevi, Simran and so on acted in Bollywood films, but could not attain immense success in the Hindi film industry. Except for Sridevi, all of them bounced back into south Indian films, only to get a bit respect but lack off offers.
However, many big directors and actors believe that south actresses don’t have life in Bollywood and so it is better if they restrict themselves to south films. Actresses like Nayantara, Namitha, Kajal Agarwal and so on feel the same and so are thinking wise to make merry in south Indian cinema rather than the Hindi films.
But yet to follow are Tamannah, Ileana, Sunaina, Anushka, Poorna and so on who have a big eye on Hindi films and hope that they can manage well in north and south Indian film industries.
