Namitha Kapoor is all set to become fashion designer, but this will be on screen and is not going to be in real life. Namitha will play the role of a fashion designer in the Telugu movie “SIMHA” opposite to actor Balakrishna.
The actress after playing this role is impressed with the profession and likes to take up the same profession after some years in her real life. Already, in a media interview, Namitha disclosed that actresses in Indian cinema have small life in acting field and so must take up other professions after making merry for some time.
So, Namitha has two thoughts, one is to establish a chain of restaurants in metro cities. The other one seems to be the latest Fashion designing profession it is heard that she has scrapped some advises from Australian fashion designer, for whom she walked on ramp in December and so may think to become a fashion designer in coming days.

Namitha, the hefty beauty of south India has found a new friend in actress Meera Chopra. The two are acting for a Kannada film and were in constant touch from then on. Namitha discloses that she finds Meera interesting and her advices are always wise and also good to follow.

Namitha’s magic works again and the producers of ‘Black Stallion’ are galloping their way to the bank. Yes, reports from the South indicate that the trilingual movie (in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu) has managed to break-even and might even rake in a handsome profit.
The movie has Namitha playing a sexy bar dancer who is constantly being wooed by lusty men. Kalabhavan Mani, who plays the eponymous hero, tries to woo her but only gets stabbed by her. The film’s other hero, Bala, plays a photographer who promises to help Namitha reform her life.
One reason why the movie managed to break even could be that it was made on a shoe-string budget of Rs 2.85 crore in the first place. Secondly, the intensive publicity campaign that focused on Namitha’s glamour and sexiness seems to be paying the dividend.
Critics may have panned the film but the fans are loving it. And at the end of the day that’s what matters for Namitha and the film’s makers.
Namitha is all set to rock Kannada once again
Namitha, who is currently the hot sensation all over the South, is all set to rock Kannada once again, with Hoo, her return vehicle to Kannada cinema. It should be remembered that Hoo is directed by ‘Crazy Star’ V. Ravichandran, who had directed Namitha’s debut Kannada film, Neelakanta.
Hoo, which is the remake of the Telugu blockbuster Vasantham, has Ravichandran himself as the hero and Meera Jasmine as the other heroine.
It is heard that Ravichandran desires to present Namitha as an actress who knows how to perform than rather as someone for the oomph factorin Hoo . Meanwhile, Namitha’s debut film in Malayalam, Black Stallion, is also getting ready for release.

There won’t be any letup by southern siren Namitha in scorching the silver screen in 2010. Known for her oomph and curves, the hot actress will not just continue to flaunt her sexy image but even improve upon it in the year to come.
“Many of my fans say that I should not do away with my glamorous image. I know that glamour is my selling point and I have decided to stick to my sexy image and please my fans,” Namitha is quoted as saying by a news agency.
Namitha would next be seen showcasing her glam avatar in the Kannada film ‘Hoo’, which is slated for release in February next year.
Talking about the movie, Namitha said she’s doing it because of Ravichandran.
“Ravi sir is a specialist as far as showing his heroines glamorously on the screen is concerned. He gives enough space to his heroines on and off screen. He has given me a very good role in the film which has given me scope to perform and also showcase my glamour quotient,” she said.
Namitha has immense respect for Ravichandran. It was he who introduced her to Kannada cinema through ‘Neelakanta’ in 2006.

Her fans are crazy enough that they have built a temple near Coimbatore for her, but sadly she has not yet visited it. Whenever she finds time Namitha flies to Mumbai to taste her mom’s recipes and enjoy with her family.
