Everyone is aware that her role though minimal added zing to the film. Namitha, couldn’t find a good reason to rejoice
One of South India’s glamorous babes, Namitha, couldn’t find a good reason to rejoice as almost all her recent releases had crashed at the box office. But, the actress is now on top of the world as her recent Telugu release ‘Simha’ has comfortably crossed 50 days.
In spite of having had to compete with the gorgeous Nayantara and pretty Sneha Ullal, Namitha has somehow managed to woo the audiences with her oomph. At present, the actress is also excited about her other Telugu film, ‘Deshdrohi’, that has her in a substantial role.
Meanwhile, the actress also has won laurels for her best performance in the Kannada film ‘Hoo’ that features her along with Meera Jasmine in the female lead. Apart from these films, the actress also has high hopes about her upcoming Tamil film ‘Ilaignyan’.

Namitha says that she is no longer interested in exposing her body on screen. She wants to play decent and acting-oriented roles. Although several directors and producers are offering her glamour roles, she has decided to turn them away. She would like to wear traditional outfits like Sridevi in the film Sadma.
However, the actress has recently attracted lots of criticism for her role in the Kannada movie Hoo. A critic has even gone to the extent of comparing her romantic scene with Ravi to two elephants.
